I went over to Kuwait English School for a job interview as a General Assistant or teacher's aid for the Green Unit which is for special needs kids. And guess what!? I got the job! I'm so excited. I don't get fast food that often but I felt like getting some KFC to celebrate. I was going to pay for it. (I'm cheap okay?) Anyway that's my big news.

I'm just way too thrilled to even be able to count my toes. lol That sounded kind of weird. I mean seriously who can't count their toes? What if they were webbed would you have to count the webbing as well? Better not think about it. I have to say that appearances can be deceiving. Although these special needs kids may not look normal they really are. In fact they are what I would subscribe as miracles. I think someone who takes care of these kids needs to have a lot of love in them. I mean like brother or sister love. You have to care about them enough to where you would do just about anything to keep them safe. This is going to be a really special experience for me. I know there are going to be hard times ahead but there will be fun times too. I'm planning on doing my best and working as hard as I can to do the things that I need. I think this is where I need to be. There are so many things to learn. I guess when you teach you are supposed to learn something in return weather it be to love unconditionally or to learn who you are through the challenges that you face in teaching these wonderful kids. I'm excited for the coming school year and for the honor of receiving this job.
